Some Tree Gettin' Photos

It's been a while since we've posted an update but for a few good reasons.
All summer we have been working on remodeling the old side garage on our house into some livable space. We've finally come close to finishing and now we have a nice family room area (somewhere to let the kids and their toys go wild). We finished it with some bamboo floors and an archway that transitions nicely into the kitchen, and a pocket door that separates it from a new mud room/laundry room. In the new laundry room we have a sliding glass door to the outside and Jenny did a dang good tile job.

In addition to that we somehow managed to close on a lot in a small new neighborhood in Columbia Falls, Montana. For those of you not familiar with the area Columbia Falls is about 15 miles Northeast of Kalispell and about 18 miles from Glacier National Park. The lot is right in town a couple blocks from some nice parks and the swimming pool. The neighborhood has shared access along the Flathead River with our lot only about a block away from the river. It has all kinds of large mature trees and they just finished up construction of a nice meandering path that goes in an out of common areas and along the river. We took the kids up today with their trikes and they were thrilled to ride on some fresh pavement.
I've been super busy working lately. Finally had some time to put up some pictures from the summer.
