Today was opening day up at Big Mountain and it was sooooo good. We were riding all over the backside and North Bowl Area with knee deep fresh everywhere. Pretty good coverage except on the frontside. The sun was out in full force in the morning with amazing views all the way up into the Canadian Rockies. I went and grabbed my camera and of course the fog immediately rolled in, so enjoy the standard Big Mtn photo of some trees in the fog. So nice to be up there riding again.

    Lots of news and stuff so I'll just break it down in a list:
  • Saw a couple of snowflakes fall yesterday morning and it has been pouring rain since then. Weatherman isn't calling for it to let up anytime soon and for snow on the valley floor by tonight. The mountains should be good and filled in soon.

  • This article was published in the Interlake about the Whitefish Skatepark. Good picture showing some of what it's like.

  • Halloween's over and Julia was a cat. She got about three days use of the costume and was pretty impressed with herself. Didn't quite get the whole "Trick or Treat" concept but she tried to say it. Bonus photo of her discovering her tongue in the mirror after a bath.

  • We got some Ultrasound pictures of the new addition to the fam yesterday. It's a boy
