Julia, Jenny and the Russell Grandparents went and picked some more Huckleberries today.

Whoa,
Watching the news right now. Snow advisory in the mountains for tomorrow until 6:00 PM.
Another weekend, Another wedding. Congratulations Tripp Lewton and Kelly Hayden. Great Wedding.
Other than that we heard rumors of a weak huckleberry crop this year so we headed up to Big Mountain with Julia in tow on the backpack on Sunday. We walked halfway up the mountain and thought we were going to get skunked too, but luckily we found a pretty big cache of huckleberries. Julia was a little confused at first but after we showed here that there were little berries all around her that she was allowed to eat she was pumped. She just squatted down next to us and as we picked huckleberries and put them in a pitcher she picked them and popped them in her mouth. By the time we left her face, hands and shirt were all purple and she was thrilled with her new discovery. We forgot the camera so you'll have to use your imagination.

Tons of stuff going on lately in the Flathead. Friday it poured rain in town and snowed in the hills extinguishing the threat of fires for now. Friday night Jenny and I went to her high school reunion. She was a little reluctant to go at first but it ended up being a pretty fun event. Lots of friends showed up from around the valley and the country. In the meantime Jenny's brother and Sister-in-law gave birth to 7 lb 10 oz Monty Charles Russell that same Friday night. See pictures below.
Saturday we attended the wedding of Cameron McConnell and Amy Stucky out in the North Fork area. It was one of the nicest wedding venues I have seen in the valley, way back in the woods sitting on the edge of a small lake. Great wedding and Great people. We had to cut it a little short because little Julia wasn't feeling too well. We were bummed to miss out on the rest of the wedding but when we arrived home Julia was running a fever of 101 degrees so it was good to get her home.
