Busy weekend. Happy 2nd Birthday Julia.
So yesterday we all left the house at 7AM up to Whitefish to run in the Whitefish Lake Run. We ran the 5k and I pushed both the kids in the stroller. First time I've run in a race since probably sophomore year X-Country. I just wanted to beat all the other stroller pushers but I think 2 managed to edge me out. Not a bad way to start the morning off though. Then we finished off Julia's new sandbox for her birthday in the afternoon. Today I got a little skating in then some prepping for Julias second birthday party. It was pretty mellow but absolutely schorching hot for Montana in June. All the family came over and we did some Barbecuing, hung out in the kiddie pool, and Jenny made a killer ice cream pie. Julia was pretty thrilled with all her presents including, an easel and some paints, Mr, Potato Head and quite a few puzzles which she is all about right now. Check it out.
