Labor Day Weekend. After much debate about heading up north to Canada we settled on sticking around the Valley and going car camping instead. We loaded up the car and headed up the North Fork of the Flathead to Bowman Lake, a off-the-beaten-path spot in the Northwest Corner of Glacier National Park. It was an awesome lake that you could drive right into. We went for a hike one day into Quartz Lake but it was a little to much to be packing Julia along to so we didn't make it all the way. Nice views though. Jenny got a little practice in casting a flyrod but no one caught anything. Julia was way pumped on the camping part of the trip and treated the tent like a big playground. She wasn't quite as excited about riding in the canoe though. Good Long weekend in all.
