This weekend we went on a short hike with Julia up to Lava Lake. She pretty much loved the ride up in the Baby Bjorn and just slept the whole way as soon as we sat down and set her down it immediately started to rain. She didn't seem to mind to much. You can tell by the smile on her face and the first couple of drops of rain that you can see in the picture. We covered her up and got her out of there without too many problems and she just checked out the trees on the way down.
Other than that it has been absolutely nasty here since then. Tons of wind and pretty cool temperatures. The good news is that there hasn't really been a single fire and this morning the FIRST SNOW fell up in the mountains. In honor of the first snow and stokedness in my bones here is a link to every snowboard trailer that I could round up and a picture of NEW SNOW as soon as the clouds lift.
